There are many human rights organizations in the United States that work to protect the rights of all people. I’ve personally donated to the ACLU in the past and the Red Cross. I think people are more interested in law and criminal justice, though. That’s why I like the ACLU and others on this list because they are taking on the systemic injustices we’ve lived with for too long.
Rights groups are all important because they help to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and has access to the same opportunities. Some of these organizations focus on specific issues, such as women’s rights or children’s rights, while others work to promote human rights in general.

Through publicity, advocacy, and education, Human Rights Watch helps to hold abusers accountable and protect those whose lives have been scarred by human rights violations.
