These stories might seem bizarre and unbelievable, but they’re all true! Check out our collection of strange news articles below to see how weird things happen every day.
Talking Parrots had to be removed from a park for swearing
Many times you must have come across the talking parrots. They look cute. But it must be rare to come across a whole gang of the talking parrots, who don’t do the usual talk but swear at you.
How it the talking Parrot scandal went down
Something similar happened in a London-based park when the management had to remove mischievous parrots from the viewpoints for swearing at the visitors.
Five African Gray parrots named Eric, Jade, Elsie, Tyson, and Billy are the ones who were involved in this activity.
Mr. Nichols, the CEO of the wildlife park, told CNN that,
I get called a fat t**t every time I walk past. They literally, within a very short period, started swearing at each other. ‘F**k off’ is the most common one. It’s a very easy one for them to learn” — but the birds would utter “anything you can think of
Nichols said that the park usually adopts one or two parrots. But, this time, due to the pandemic, it had decided to go for a few more and took in eight. He continued that it is not the first they have come across such naughty parrots.
“To take in a swearing parrot isn’t an unusual thing, it’s something that happens probably three or four times a year,” Nichols said.
The weirdest part
The rare thing, in this case, was that all the five parrots shared this practice.
“We saw it very quickly; we are quite used to parrots swearing but we’ve never had five at the same time,” said Steve Nichols.
According to Lincolnshire Live, the park adopted these parrots from separate owners in August, and they were kept together in quarantine before shifting them to the viewpoints.
As they all had been together, they must have learned this trait in that period.
“But, just by coincidence, we took in five in the same week and because they were all quarantined together it meant that one room was just full of swearing birds.”
Nichols said that the employees and customers found it funny to see such talented parrots. Instead of getting infuriated, they started enjoying their abusive remarks.
“The visitors were giving them as much back as what they were giving to them. For the last 25 years, we have always taken in parrots that have sometimes had a bit of blue language. We always find it very comical when they do swear at you. The more they swear the more you usually laugh, which then triggers them to swear again”.
But the management had to remove the parrots from the display because of the kids that visit the parks. The park sensed that this could negatively impact the children, who might adopt this thing as well.
“So at least if they do swear it is not as bad as three or four of them all blasting it out at once,”
Nichols concluded that he hoped it would be helpful to change their cage mates, and they would learn some new, more decent words.
A Woman Fell Out Of Her Car On A Busy Highway
A woman fell out of the car on a busy highway while filming a Snapchat video. The incident took place on the M25 motorway south of London.
The Surrey Police said that an unnamed fell out of her car into a “live lane” between junction six and the Clacket Lane services at 1.30 am on Saturday while dangling out of the passenger window to shoot a Snapchat video. Luckily, she survived and didn’t sustain serious injuries.
“It is only by luck she wasn’t seriously injured or killed,” the Police wrote on Twitter. They also shared a picture of the open passenger window with a hashtag #nowords.
Surrey police spokesman said that the paramedics treated the women at the scene. “The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene and her injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made.”
This selfie accident is not the first time that an incident of this sort has taken place. According to a Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care report, almost 259 selfie deaths were reported worldwide between 2017 -2019.
Where and how often selfie accidents happen
India is on the top of the list of the countries that report the highest selfie deaths. The second on the list is Russia, followed by the USA and Pakistan. Reportedly, 72 percent of victims are men and are under the age of 30.
People have extensively criticized the woman for such irresponsible behavior. A user wrote on Twitter, “The worst thing about this is that had she been hit – the poor driver who hit her would have to live with that for the rest of their life. No one expects to be dodging human bodies on a motorway, and an emergency stop may have caused a serious pile-up and further loss of life.”
Another user wrote, “Unbelievable no arrests were made. Surely there is something that can be done – at the very least charged and fined for wasting Police and other emergency services’ time?”
However, the Police replied: “We can’t just arrest people for fun. We have to have a necessity which we did not have for this. We knew who she was; where she lived, there will have been plenty of evidence, and no person or property was likely to be at any further risk. Just because no one was arrested does not mean action can not be taken. But I suspect not many people are sat there thinking this sort of thing is a good idea, and those involved certainly learned a thing or two that night.”

Mexican Archeologists Found A Mayan Slave Ship
Mexican archaeologists have found the remains of a Mayan ship in the Gulf of Mexico. This is an outstanding achievement, as it is the first time a Mayan slave vessel is located in the centuries. So, everybody is pretty excited about this discovery.
In an announcement, the National Institute of Anthropology and History said that the archaeologists discovered the ship’s raments back in 2017. They found the remains about 2 millers/3.7 kilometers away from the Sisal port and 22 feet/7 meters under the ocean’s surface.
However, at that time, the researchers were not sure what they had found.
They started their research and study, and after three years of continuous work, have confirmed that the vessel belonged to the 19th century, and it’s called “La Unión.”
The INAH has made vital revelations concerning the operations of this Mayan vessel. Furthermore, the research institute reported that between 1855 and 1861, the ship had served the purpose of transporting the captured Mayan people to Cuba.
In addition, this period marked the time of the rebellion war known as the Castle War.
Mexico banned slavery in 1829. But the cruel business continued in secret. This ship supposedly carried 25-30 Mayans to Cuba each month. Forced to work, the Mayans were. Primarily as slaves in the sugar cane industry.
What the experts say
An INAH archaeologist Helena Barba Meinecke said
“Each slave was sold to middlemen for 25 pesos, and they resold them in Havana for as much as 160 pesos, for men, and 120 pesos for women.” Barba continued that “For researchers … the discovery is highly relevant,”
The researchers identified the ship from an exploded boiler and the burnt timber wooden signs they located. Reportedly, the ship had an accident on September 19, 1861, on its way to Cuba. Half of the 80 crew members and 60 onboard passengers had died in the accident. Moreover, the passenger list didn’t include the Mayan slaves’ records. The capturers carried them as cargo or merchandise. Unclear how many Mayans died in the accident.
This ship is a crucial discovery and would help uncover many more facts from history. As INAH said in a press release,
“Beyond the difficulty in identifying a wreck by name, it also speaks to an ominous past for Mexico that should be acknowledged and studied in terms of its context and time.”
You Will Never Guess Which CNBC Host Called Pelosi ‘Crazy Nancy.’
A CNBC host apologized recently to the U.S house of representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi for calling her ‘Crazy Nancy’ in an interview. Things got pretty tense.
Jim Cramer referred to Pelosi as ‘ Crazy Nancy’ while talking about the second corona stimulus package on Mad Money.
While asking the stimulus package deal question, “What deal can we have, Crazy Nancy?” However, he immediately realized his mistake and apologized to Pelosi for his comment. He said, “Sorry, that was the president. I have such reverence for the office; I would never use that term—”
But you just didNancy Pelosi
The delay over the second Coronavirus stimulus package boils down to one factor for those who don’t know. The wait is due to the government and the Democrats’ argument over a few terms of the bill.
But, Cramer seemed to feel guilty for his remark. He told Nancy that he has excellent ‘reverence for the office’ and massive respect for her and her services for the public and country.
“I have respect for you. Anyone who gives their life to public service and is Speaker of the House should not be called that name. I don’t even want to use it again.”Kramer
The Speaker of the House didn’t appear to take the comment on her heart. Nancy assured Cramer she understood that he didn’t mean anything wrong.
The public didn’t expect such a mistake from a TV host. After the clip went viral on the internet, hundreds of critics took to social media and slammed Cramer for his audacity.
Time’s Up wrote on Twitter, “Whether @JimCramer meant to insult Nancy Pelosi or refer to Trump’s disparaging attacks, the harmful effects are the same. We’re calling on journalists to stop circulating sexist labels that betray women’s skills, insights, & lived experiences as leaders. #WeHaveHerBack”
Following the harsh response from the public, Jim again apologized for his mistake. He explained that his intentions were not wrong, and he is deeply sorry if he has hurt someone’s feelings.
“I made an idiotic comment. It was a tongue-in-cheek attempt to point to the harsh tone about the negotiations in Washington, but it fell completely flat, and I apologize for that. As I said immediately after the comment, I want to make it clear that I have an incredible amount of respect for both the Speaker and, of course, the office she holds,” Cramer said.
To add to your information, ‘Crazy Nacy’ is a nickname given to Nancy Pelosi by President Trump. Even after this episode, Trump took to his Twitter and wrote, “Jim, you didn’t make a mistake. No pandering! It’s true, and that’s why you said it.
